Drea Sequ Nigh Scen-An Abbreviated Minor Variation

It’s happened again…..another disjointed multi-part dream continuing the strange saga that has been haunting me.

The first part had my car back to reprise its starring role. Been a while since its last appearance and the purported meaning and analyses of its purpose in my previous two dreams were on target in explaining the nonsense surrounding what remains of my career.

The first dream had my tires being stolen three times, the second had my car cutting corners too fast and running over a desk chair…neither good. No need to repeat my thoughts…the original post and sequel will shed light.

This time my car was parked in a far corner of a parking lot, which I often do to avoid monster SUVs and pickups from parking right next to me, as is their strange tendency, and potentially dinging my doors. All good till I came out of wherever I was and my car was on blocks once again, all four wheels missing. I have an odd attachment to those wheels, not only because wheels are integral to a car’s ability to move but because they’re really fucking cool-looking, so I decided to have the car flat-bedded to the dealer to get the same exact wheels and tires, Pirelli P-Zeros, attachment to which I don’t have an answer for.

Part Two had me in an elevator in an office building, but the elevator was only able to move sideways along the “floors” of the building which resembled a square motel with a courtyard. No matter what button I pressed I couldn’t get where I wanted to go, which was the office of a former client who summoned me after I fired him. After trying several times to get to his office and already 20 minutes late, the button with his floor disappeared from the elevator control panel, so I gave up, exited the elevator at another spot and left the building.

No need for a dream analyzer. My superficial analysis is I want to maintain the status quo despite the negativity and am discarding anyone or anything I no longer want or need, seeking simplification. The interesting thing this time is I added wheel locks to prevent (or deter) another theft, which would solve one recurring issue but not prevent other car-related stuff from happening. And the sideways elevator means I’m trying to maintain a level without going up or down as I figure out what to do next. The good and bad of this is I have accepted the need to keep financial stability in place and not be reckless. With the wheels firmly in place and the elevator at a steady level, I would be free to move ahead to wherever I might be going, so far destination unknown. My career is strictly a job, there to provide cash for however long it needs to.

Maybe acceptance with caveats is a good thing, maybe not. At best it will provide calm and perspective things aren’t so bad and there’s no need to panic or do something stupid to jeopardize what I’ve got. At worst my brave façade will be temporary, and this dream will only push any future dreams in other realms of weird creating other worlds of angst.

I don’t sense this is over, but I hope the locks hold no matter what.
